I 'll be away for the weekend, so unfortunately, no suggestions until Monday/Tuesday... However, on Monday I 'll run my algorithms again for the weekend's matches and update my personal precision stats, so as to take them also into consideration for the future. (I can do this even after a match has finished, by ignoring the result :)

New season, new checks

Image via WikipediaFor your information, I am currently altering my stats (not the profit/loss page, my personal files), so as to be more up-to-date. I do this for every new season, but I also consider my old stats for a shor period of time. So I will now double check my suggestions (actually triple check or more since I take a lot of factors into consideration). Consequently, you may see less suggestions for the beggining that will grow as time goes by. Noone (and especially me) wants to lose money from this blog... I will do my best to keep us in profit and make it greater!

Real-Time Systems (book suggestion/review)

As some of you may know, the algorithms that I use in this blog are based on my master thesis in computer science. Another part of my thesis is the development of a real-time system  that acts in a smart-home environment (the field is called Ambient Intelligence).

During my research I have come across the book Real-Time Systems: Design Principles for Distributed Embedded Applications (Real-Time Systems Series), written by Hermann Kopetz, which I found extremely useful.
